Examine Yourself

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5

Do you Fail the test?

Reflect On Your Character

As you read below, take the time to reflect on your character as A Christian "An imitator/disciple of Jesus Christ"

Many profess to believe in Jesus, many profess He is their Lord and Savior, while few truly have a hearts desire to submit to His Lordship and His grace to obey all His commands, being transformed into the "Image of Jesus" and becoming a true disciple.

What kind of Disciple of Christ are you?

Do you read & know the word of God?

Do you obey all He has commanded us?

Does your life's action & decisions reflect a disciple of Jesus?

When people look at you, do they see more of you, or more of Jesus?

Do you care more about your outside appearance, then your inside?

Do you know God's word says that "Life & death are in the tongue?"

What kind of words come out of your mouth?

Does personal conviction, override obeying the word of God.

Do people see the fruits of the spirit in your actions?

What would you say gets in the way of people seeing Jesus in you?

Our object should not be to have scripture on our side, but to be on the side of scripture; and however dear any sentiment may have become by being long entertained, so soon as it is seen to be contrary to the Bible, we must be prepared to abandon it without hesitation.

Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16

Bible verses on being imitators of Christ: Ephesians 5:1, 1 Corinthians 11:1, 1 Corinthians 4:16

You be the Judge.

Are you a true disciple of Christ, an "Imitator of Jesus" obeying, walking and growing in His likeness and image daily.
