The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor reward us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is as high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him. As far is the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear Him. For He knoweth our fame; He remembereth that we are dust. Psalms 103:8-14

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Romans 3:23-27
